Robert DeLucia and Scott Anaya have been close friends for years. They used to go to friend’s houses and drink wine and wish there was a place in Anchorage to hang out and drink good wine. They got tired of complaining and decided to do something about it so they opened Crush in 2008. It’s been a labor of love, and both of them had to say goodbye to sleep as they added Crush to their already busy work schedules. Chad Culley joined the team a year later and the Cellar was opened soon after. Their vision is to have a place people can experience good wine and food in a non-pretentious and friendly atmosphere. Reminiscent of their friend’s houses back in the day, but with better service and quite a few more bottles to choose from, Crush is meant to be a comfortable place for all occasions. They want the atmosphere to be nice and chill like they are, while offering guests impeccable service.
